Dive into Books with Delta
The Dive into Books with Delta Committee read to students at Marion Elementary School in the Ritenour School District.
Dive into Books with Delta program provides books to students to add to their personal libraries. Members of the St. Louis Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated reads books to classes at partnering schools. During the visit, members of the sorority’s chapter spend time reading to students in addition to donating books to the school. The visit and donation are part of the St. Louis Alumnae Chapter’s Dive into Books with Delta childhood literacy program. The St. Louis Alumnae Chapter has partnered with the Hazelwood, University City, Ritenour, and Ferguson-Florissant school districts as well as Normandy Schools Collaborative. The St. Louis Alumnae Chapter has donated over 1,000 books to students.
